I think it would be great if you dressed her in something she loves wearing for special occasions. Sure anyone can get messy in t-shirt and jeans, but special occasion outfits to me add a little more something to it. Plus it just makes sense with this being a special occasion. I would go for something easy to clean up that does not have too strong of a stench. For example, if you pie her with a non shaving foam pie and she still has her glasses on, they could retain the smell for a little longer. That may be good or bad.
