holy gameshow grail at least for geezers is the Dating Game bachelorette pieing, which I saw twice in re-runs on the old WORch.9 in New York but as for a surviving clip the only one I ever saw was from Curly's tapes...the scene kicked in late and the gorgeous brunette is already pied. What made the scene great was I am convinced it was a setup but the girl never suspected. During the game, the bachelors were given big-ass pies to hold and if the girl didn't like the answer she made them pie themselves. Well, one guy preserved the majority of the pie and when he came around the screen he nailed the chick, initially to her shock and dismay. She then tried to play it off and curtsy to the studio audience, which was roaring. I would dearly love to see that game again...it does still exist I believe as Game Show Network aired the same re-runs briefly and years ago. just a little bit of TV pie history.
