I checked it out. It's a good deal at its price.
The girls are good looking, the pies look good and the hits are the kind I like(lots of smearing).
My concerns are coming from a 'like to see the girls get it" point of view. Its set up as a legit game so theoretically you can wind up with a smoking hot girl(s)....that's also pretty smart in which case there can be some frustration if she avoids the mess. Also while all girl episodes sound good, sometimes that might backfire as the girls might take it easy on each other or the guys might turn into gentlemen when it comes time to dish out the pies.
None of that happens in this episode just noting my concerns
A minor thing that did bug me a little was the close ups could have been a bit longer especially post pie hit.

I'm the presenter, and we have control over everything, although it is a real game, there are sure to be lots of mess and no one will catch it.
We get into the spirit of competition, and definitely the girls will always come out covered in pies. Be sure about this because the quality level will be maintained.

The type of pie itself (double pie, triple pie), entails great mess and cover, as you yourself can verify.

Interesting point -- the more you veer into WAM-producer style territory the more it loses the more authentic game show vibe it has. I enjoyed it too, everyone is messed to fuck up by the end and it did feel like the participants were actually playing a game and not a typical WAM production effort.

I PM'ed Pirate guy, I told him he might make it so it's teams of a Guy and Girl vs another team of Guy & Girl. While I have no interest in guys being pied, it kind of helps the feel of it being "real", if that makes any sense -- but with teams of guys and girls, you could take advantage of that format to push things in certain directions (plus, if it's a girl answering against a girl - you're guaranteed one girl being pied).

I'd personally love to see a version of that game they play on Esto Es Guerra, where it's always two girls "ringing in" answers by pieing a guy over and over. I think that could be easily turned around to the girls taking the hits and still come off as a game show. Maybe.

Overall good stuff.

The pies were good but the Season 1 Chega Mais pies were better. Something about them was thick and adhesive but didn't completely engulf the victims and make them unrecognizable balls of good. I also think the pies they used on the Domingo Legal version of Passo ou Repassa were better. It's a good formula whatever he's using but there is room for improvement.

Hopefully he's got a steady line up of girls, which they're top-notch here, and produces a lot more of this. So far, so good.

I will instruct the confectioner about it. The recipe is the same (marshmallow), but the way of preparation differs a bit. I'll follow that closely. What do you think?

From the reviews, sounds like it really is trying to be a gameshow. Which definitely has its appeal. At the same time, if you're trying to promote it on a WAM forum, I suspect you're gonna get pressure from folks to make it an all-female game. (As you've already seen.)

Personally as long as you don't fall into the frustration that ruined Chega Mais (and Domingo Legal too) you should be alright. I do think if you're gonna "rig" the game you oughta do it so the females come out worse tho! Also Enigmahood's idea of having the guys "ring in" by pieing the girls should DEFINITELY be used. No Latina gameshow has done this well to date. You could be the first!

I also prefer if it stays authentic. I love the casual outfits by the way. I hope the girls are the one bringing their own outfit. that's a plus for me.

+1 for keeping it authentic and not to the level of a WAM production.

As I grew up with messy gameshows, this is really the closest I've seen to authentic WAM gameshows. As I mentioned earlier, only the top scenes from CM and PoR are better, but you have to sift through dozens of episodes to get good hits, whereas this one was awesome hits the entire game!!!

The candid reactions are also very good for the two ladies. Seriously, check out the other girl's reaction when her friend gets pied, totally epic. I would even go as far as saying that maybe one should not "re-use" models too much like in normal WAM productions.

It's hard to describe, but there's a definition difference between the vids here and your typical WAM videos. In a WAM video, you know she's going to get messy because it's part of the script. The setup here is well more candid and "believable" that it's not a WAM video, but still has excellent scenes that we see in the top 10% of non-WAM WAM scenes.

Got a dumb question, considering that I already bought the video.

Are we basically buying a monthly subscription to the walking the plank gameshow, or are we buying access to an episode?

you will not lose access to anything, both new and old videos will be yours, and you can watch them whenever you want. Access is unlimited.

even if it is a real game, we make sure that all the girls leave with extreme mess, this is one of the bases of the program (double pie, triple pie). Be sure about this, the program is structured so girls are the focus and ensure that they are messed up to the extreme.
I opted for the game show because it is exciting and tense, and you can experience the most diverse reactions before and after each round.

Here's some ideas for you Pirata, and I applaud your willingness to hear people out -- one thing I caution you on, and this goes for me and anything I say as much as anyone else, I believe you need to be true to yourself.

If someone gives you an idea and YOU like it, run with it. Don't do something that you don't believe is good, though. There are a lot of people in this community and a lot of different niches within niches, meaning some people (myself included) get VERY specific on what THEY want -- and this does not translate to something anyone else may want to see.

Please keep that in mind -- and again, that means ME as much as anyone else. If I float an idea by you and you don't think it works then fuck EnigmaHood Jake (not to be confused with that twitter fuck who is a creep, but possibly to be confused with other Wam Jakes).

Do what Pirata wants to do first and foremost.

Ok, so here are some neat ideas to run by you -- and again if you go with a Guy/Girl team combo, you can always engineer it so the girls are the ones playing the really messy stuff as much or as little as you like.

With the right participants, the right camera work and the right slop recipe, this could really work great. How coachable are the people you are working with? Can you give them tips on how to react or are you going fully for a natural reaction? Again, it's a choice to make -- go with a "better" reaction from our standpoint (meaning, sit there and wipe as little as possible and look dumbfounded or to ham it up like these girls do a little) OR keep it fully authentic? The authenticity is a big selling point but, for me, if you could coach them a little to ham it up, that could work.

This game is great because you have them repeatedly sticking their faces in a giant vat of goop over and over. There isn't much time to wipe, they're on a schedule and you can have them retrieve as many balls or apples or whateverthefuck you want to make it go on very long.

My advice: Make them go one at a time on a countdown timer (maybe 1 minute) and see who gets the most apples or whatevers out of the vat. That way they're both on a strict time table, working as fast as they can, repeatedly going full under, there isn't much time to wipe around or avoid the mess and such. Going one at a time allows you to capture each with your two camera setup better.

Here is another take (and a rare good one for us) on the "ring in with a pie" answer game. We all like this one, but you would need to have them both go at once and with only a 2-camera setup that makes it more difficult to really get in there. Still, even with a single long angle shot it would work - just make sure the girls being pied are framed in the shot great and instructed not to duck or avoid the hits.

One thing I liked from the first two and something Chega Mais did - the post pie interviews with the girls. Get up in their faces and put them on the spot with them covered, just rubbing salt in the wounds as it were. Love that.

Anyone else have any good ideas in a game show format?

I'm probably not a fan of the pie buzzing in idea, just because the quality of the pieing might be wasted. I like the idea of a head dunking contest with a slimy substance. Also a possible punishment to add would be where both members of the team get a pie or double pie at the same time.

Maybe at the very end of the game you can somehow incorporate a bucket of water, if possible.

Also maybe put a random bag on the table before each question, to maybe speed the pace up.

Yeah I wouldn't veer too far off the path right away. Most of us that buy this at least agree that we like pies in the face.
Different types of pie constancy might be a good thing, you can make pies bigger or more gooey.
Punishment for the losing team would be good but again.....for me and the "girls getting it" crowd seeing guys on the receiving end disappoints.
You could maybe add more women or make sure they always get the worst of it
I would just improve what I could for now.

I'm planning another program for this month.

The girls have not yet been chosen, but expect nothing less than they saw in the first, that is one of the main focuses.
