I found this great tool to speed up and make editing easier, works on the most common editors, apple and PC. Its called a Contour Shuttle and it does everything. Scans thru the footage fast or slow has buttons for common commands, cut, delete, pastes, traditions, text insert etc. Its about $100 in the US but actually an English product. Works great, sped up and improved my work flow quite a bit.

It should bare mentioning that when this thing works, it works great but sometimes they're behind the ball with updates and can be a pain in the ass until they update the drivers. I have fellow videographers and colleagues who have had mixed reviews from unit working flawlessly to working inconsistently with Mac OS or Windows 11 after update. For me personally, it has hiccups when working with some AVID products and Ableton Live. I'm hoping they fixed all that because I genuinely think it's a great tool for both desktop and even mobile set ups/editing
