Has anyone experimented with slime made from flax seed? If you Google 'flax seed goo' there are many videos showing how to easily make it. Apparently it is used as a hair product. I have no clue how much flax seed costs or how much it would take to make a large amount, so I'm curious if anyone has experimented with it?

I have used this ! Auntie Jackie's dont shrink it's great for my texture hair, and natural kinky curlies. Now I have the recipe. Just boil them. I actually have flaxseed in the cupboard as I use it for low card cooking !

Um... Flax seeds aren't low carb....

When you consider wheat is 70g and flax is 29g per 100g it is lower carb.

Besides we are not eating it !

I imagine any recipe for small quantities would probably scale. The vast majority of flax's carbohydrate content is soluble fiber aka cellulose. I imagine it would come out s im Millar to methylcellulose, although it might be a little more sticky than slippery due to protein content (more like semen, less like lube)

That being said, unless you specifically want that consistency, the appropriate amount of flax would probably be more expensive than just buying methylcellulose.

I'm wondering if it's sold as a powder or as granules (seeds) and if proper production requires specifically powder.
