I'm currently developing a small independent sploshing / WAM gameshow-style project and I'd really value honest feedback from women in the community before I launch anything publicly.
I'm especially interested in hearing from women who might not want to appear on camera themselves due to work, privacy, or personal reasons, as those concerns are exactly the kinds of things I want to understand and design around from the start.
This isn't a casting call (yet! That's a couple months away) - it's a listening exercise.
One thing I want to get right from the start is making sure the experience works for female contestants as well as audiences, especially around: game balance; tone (playful vs humiliating vs competitive); comfort and consent framing; what actually feels fun vs what just looks fun on paper and which ideas are exciting vs off-putting. Essentially, what sounds fun enough to want to participate in, what sounds off-putting, and whether there are important questions the project should be answering but currently isn't.
The project includes messy forfeits, challenge games, and studio-style setups inspired by classic TV gunge formats - but adapted for the sploshing community rather than mainstream television.
Because it's still in early development I'm not sharing the website publicly yet, but I'm happy to send the preview link by DM to women in the sploshing community whose perspective - whether you'd personally want to take part or just have thoughts about what would make it appealing - would really help shape the project.
If you enjoy messy gameshows, slime forfeits, or just have opinions about what makes a WAM setup actually appealing from a female perspective, I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts.
Send me a message and I'll share the preview link.
I'm assuming that the concerns of women not wanting to be on camera will in part be shared by those that are on the fence about being on camera and that anything we can do to minimise the concerns, increases the chances of getting contestants to take part.
The overall intent is for most of the content to be filmed but I also want to make sure it is fun for the participants. I'm trying to design a hypothetical sploshing emotional rollercoaster featuring 6 emotional trials meant to create an adventure for those taking part. When set up we will also offer experience days for those wanting a private experience but until then I'm focused on filming public content.
