What type of mud do you like best? Is it thin like water? Is it thick like clay? Brown, red, gray? How about warm or cold? Share your favorite!

For me, I love stuff with the consistency of peanut butter or a bit thinner. Something creamy and that loves to cling to the skin and lacking any grit or large pebbles. And I like it as either light grey or black. Definitely prefer warm over cold, too.

Prefer nice thick stuff. Darker is better, but like all. Nice and creamy texture. Never had the chance to sink or get much depth, but would love to.

Most commonly used: plain old black dirt mud

Mud is what started this whole thing. It continues the tradition for me. There's a reason really good mud is harder to get than clay, however much producers sometimes imply that it's about the same. It isn't to me. The smell of mud alone is worth the price of admission. The worst is that water-soluble stuff that looks like liquid plastic. So easy to clean off; so not mud. 'Natural' is part of the fetish.
