Before I state my piece, does anyone know what color Zoe's gunge may have been? Or if there were multiple, the colors and swirls always *got* to me.
On the subject of favorites though? Caroline, easily, and I'll elaborate like hell on exactly why.
Thickest gunge possible from the pumpkins series, that's points right there in her favor. Cute black girl with long hair, completely unprepared for the onslaught of gunge awaiting her. Doused with gallons of thick red gunk, dropped into a vat of grey/white/green goop that immediately swallows her up. Hands forward, face first, nowhere to go but down. The red gunge pools up near the seat as the tip of her head rises up from it, then long trails of white and red drip off her body as she slowly staggers up. Another deluge of red gunge slams her as the camera zooms in on her plastered face. She parts her hair as she laughs in disbelief, face just utterly plastered with red and white and pink as a massive glob of goop drips off her nose. She wrings out her hands, slicks back her hair, but the red still keeps coming down in slow drips and getting her on top of the head in the process.
It's the 2017 Golden State Warriors of gungings. Everything done right, not a moment wasted.
Cassie and Caroline were both fantastic, especially the former. For me, the gunging only worked if they went fully under and it was best when the gunge was thick and colorful. It was a nice bonus if more fell on them after they went in.
It was also great when they were clearly nervous and a bit uncomfortable as it made the humiliation even better.
For my own favorites, I always liked Sara the hairdresser.

Totally agreement! As well as dunking her feet right you also see her wriggle her toe(s) out of the gunge as DBP explains the rules.
Always enjoyed Rachel Victoria Roberts from Grange Hill getting gunged. Good looking, skims the surface of the gunge and moves them side to side, squeal she makes as falls in and sulk mode after when DBP asks how she feels.

Philippa Forrester, always had a thing for the lovely Philippa, messing around as she trys to keep away from the gunge and total immersion. Just a pity lack a good quality clip.
Let's not forget Denise. Good looking. Total submersion and then covered from above. Very nervous. And if you watch the pre gunk dunk clip you can see her realise that she lost and Dave counts. She must have known her son needed a certain number to win. You can see him celebrate quietly too. And then she has a great reaction as she goes up the stairs!!
