A journalist approached me about doing an article about a MessyHot model and promised some promotion as well as the exposure that would come with it. The article is well written but the brand I've spent over a decade building was reduced to "somebody on Instagram that shares the same interests" and some photo captions. I confronted the journalist about it and she changed the copy on their newswire site but I hasn't been pushed to all outlets. At least I get mentioned in the photo captions. From now on I'm demanding written promise that I get to review final copy before approving use of my photography
I suppose "woman publicly enjoys her quirky fetish" makes for a more interesting story than "colourful woman is a fetish model." Bizarre that they didn't even mention your site in passing.
