The Edinburgh Fringe Festival starts in 2 weeks time. So let's create a post of shows and recommendations for anyone going along to it.

Showstopper: The Improvised Musical and Shitfaced Shakespeare have pretty strong arguments for a viewing. I'd consider Miriam Margolyes' show if you want something a bit more witty, too.

Pro-Tip: The Starbucks near the Castle requires you to buy something in exchange for a code to use the toilets on the 2nd floor. Thing is, they rarely change the code. Hold on to it: It can come in extremely handy. Trust me on this.

If anyone is looking for a messy show, "Beat The Comics" is a comedy quiz show taking place in the City Cafe at 8pm every night. Comedians take on members of the audience in a general knowledge quiz and the loser gets pied in the face.
Gonna go along and try it out one day
