The Edinburgh Fringe Festival starts in 2 weeks time. So let's create a post of shows and recommendations for anyone going along to it. Always like to get other people's recommendations for shows to see. Any early previews to start off with? Feel free to add as the festival goes on
Showstopper: The Improvised Musical and Shitfaced Shakespeare have pretty strong arguments for a viewing. I'd consider Miriam Margolyes' show if you want something a bit more witty, too.
Pro-Tip: The Starbucks near the Castle requires you to buy something in exchange for a code to use the toilets on the 2nd floor. Thing is, they rarely change the code. Hold on to it: It can come in extremely handy. Trust me on this.

If anyone is looking for a messy show, "Beat The Comics" is a comedy quiz show taking place in the City Cafe at 8pm every night. Comedians take on members of the audience in a general knowledge quiz and the loser gets pied in the face. Gonna go along and try it out one day
