I write the message to my friends on umd who live in Japan and all who have family and friends in our country. Magnitude 5 earthquake is scary, reminds us of 2011 disaster. Unfortunately 20 people became injured from the earthquake and lots of damage is caused to homes and waterlines.

Let's hope that Kanto can recover soon!

I was in Yokosuka Japan (approx 40 miles south of Tokyo) during the March 2011 earthquake/tsunami/nuke disaster... all the way through that until i trranferred out in August!

I have no doubt Japan will recover the best that it can... still scary though!
