Just a quick heads up that we have decided to sell our Dunk Tank and Gunge Tank. We have 1 interested party but are opening up to see if there is any other interest before we put it on ebay. Its your chance to own a piece of WAM history as well as have some fun. They are very rare in the UK so are looking for sensible offers around £1500.
We are also selling our Gunge Tank, its a metal framed and has heavy duty acrylic sides. Again open to sensible offers.
Gunge as always is available through Ebay but we do have a lot of Xanthan and Carboxy Methyl Cellulose to clear. If you are able to collect from Reading I can do 25kg bags at £50 to clear.
We haven't shot one for a few years, unlikely we'll do anymore now to be honest. The market is too saturated with producers and films to make it viable for us to go back to where we were.
I'm open to sensible offers on the Gunge Tank. Its a steel frame and very robust. I replaced the Perspex sides to a heavy duty acrylic and it hasn't been used since. The acrylic alone set me back £350.
Sounds like a steal for anybody in the UK who plans to do dunk tank or gunge tank shoots.
In the USA the dunk tank we used costs $3500 (without a trailer) or $4500 with a hitch trailer so you can tow it to events. Our gunge tank was custom built by a friend of ours who builds props for movies and tv shows. The raw materials cost alone cost over $500 from a DIY store and we paid the guy $500 more to build it.
