I had a memory card corrupt at the very end of a shoot with Luna and lost ALL of the video from the scene. I decided to go ahead and post the photo set for free.
Sorry to hear that! Back in the (analogue) day, the fear was forgetting to switch the camera on, or maybe forgetting to clean the video heads (getting a 'dirty' image)...or a battery dying mid shoot.
Digital (memory card or hard drive) video tech was to be the salvation of the video producer (once the prices came down)...apparently, shit still happens (as it nearly always does on an a/v project).

It really does. Now all of my production cameras have dual card slots and I record to both cards a the same time to prevent stuff like that from happening. SD cards aren't NEARLY as prone to failure as old analog gear, but it does in fact happen sometimes.
