As everyone's celebrating the "Big" holidays around this time, it can be easy for us to lose track and completely forget about one of the most important holidays soon after - National Pie Day on January 23rd. Don't let it sneak up on you, not realizing the time has come only after the fact! You can take advantage of your various gift cards and after-holiday special sales to help with your "shopping" and preparations!
And since one of your holiday gifts from someone will most likely be a calendar of some sort, make sure to mark the other Important Dates (which most calendar makers tend to leave off - really how lazy the industry has become!!)...:
January: National Oatmeal Month (Oatmeal making a good key ingredient in many a slime recipe)
February: Great American Pie Month
Feb 20: Cherry Pie Day
March 14: National Pi Day
August 1-7: International Clown Week
October 14: National Dessert Day
...and then finally there's National Pie in the Face Day...oddly enough there are a few different dates various sources credit as being that "Most Wonderful Time of the Year", so why not risk being wrong and just go ahead and celebrate them all! April 30 July 1 November 27 (the most agreed-upon date)
