I am wondering how people get rid of peanut butter after a messy session. Because it doesn't dissolve well (and actually gets firmer when mixed with water) I'm hesitant to pour it down the drain. Water doesn't really make it go away like other substances.

I was planning on making it thinner using oil, (which it already contains) but disposal has me concerned. My municipality demands clear garbage bags and we have strict rules on what is allowed in the garbage, so that is not an option either.

Because peanut butter 'wants' to re-harden if it dries out in the plumbing system, I won't risk that unless there is some trick to safely flushing it.

Anyone have an answer?

Went right down the drain no problem. Mixed it with enough oil to make it pourable. Have fun!
