I've been rolling around a loose idea in my head while getting customs, and I wanted to pitch it here to see what people think. I'm talking with a few producers about this.
The way the idea works is that when I get a custom, along with my scene, I would also make an offer of a grant to anyone that gets another custom that is substantially similar to my custom.
So as an example, lets say that messygirl does an awesome custom for me like "Human Garbage Disposal" https://dl.messygirlvideos.com/cgi/autogal.pl?vidnum=tws-75-0857 I would have a prearranged deal with them that if someone else wants to do something like human garbage disposal on a different model, I would pay $75 of that persons custom bill.
The person would be responsible for coming up with a script and negotiating with the producer. I would never be involved in negotiations and would not see your script, but the producer would be able to tell when eligible. (For example, I would say to be eligible it must be a female model, contain open legged nudity, and savory humilation - the producer would judge if your script matched that to apply the discount)
This would be beneficial to me because it would let me leverage my custom money to get more scenes I like, and also would mean I would be able to enjoy stuff without knowing whats going to happen, and i wouldn't be involved in creating a script or picking a model, so it would have the surprise magic.
Hopefully, this would give other savory humiliation fans thinking about doing customs the ability to make their custom at a cheaper rate than otherwise.
And for producers, they would get to tap into new potential custom customers and maybe get to make customs that wouldn't otherwise happen.
What do you guys think of this? Is this something you would take advantage of if it was offered? Any problems you can see?
Thanks for the feedback, all you say makes a lot of sense.
I had certainty thought of this as a kind of passive thing that would kind of work every so often, than as something that I would be relying on as a source of stuff I like.
Teaming up or forming a group of people with similar interests to sponsor certain kinds of things does seem like it could be a good idea, but would probably be a lot of work and could get tangled up if things go south.
We have done "sponsored" scenes before now, cheaper than a custom, the custom supplies (or pays for) the outfits and pays for the gunge, and gets a free copy of the finished scene, we pay the model fees and decide what happens in the scene (subject to it being like one of our mainline scenes where everyone gets totally covered head to toe). Cheaper than a custom and also a lot easiet for us to shoot as we don't need to worry about following a script.
If you found a producer who generally shoots the kind of scenes you like, you could ask if they'd be interested in that kind of arrangement?

This is a good point and is kind of what I've been doing already. My directions are also much more focused on how to position the model and what to do to her, but i don't script specific lines or scenarios (its more like "come up with a reason for her to have this happen and then do something like this to her")
It looks like there are people who buy the scenes because they are not super specific, so the producers are making them at a rate that is better than nothing but not the full cost of the model + supplies. They are then making their profit with the sales after the fact. That is unless my estimate of model time + supplies + producer time is wrong, and they are somehow making money from just shooting my scene, but I doubt it.
Many of my customs were kind of copies of earlier scenes anyway, so the producer had a rough idea of sales first.
