I try to ignore the adverts on TV, as far as possible. But I do notice quite a few, during daytime hours, promoting remedies for erectile dysfunction. These adverts are always quite discreet, they never use humour or seek to embarrass their intended audience. They often show a happy looking couple together or a man looking especially pleased with himelf. So I looked up at the TV in surprise when an advert loudly asked whether I had any, "Cum Problems!" "That's a bit crude and insensitive," I thought to myself. The advert was for a cream, or ointment. Usually the cure is a little pill instead. Then, just as the advert was finisning, I realized that it was, after all, for, "Gum problems!" Thank Christ for that. I was just about to rush down to the chemist. I'd have squirted a whole tube of the f***ing stuff just where it is not intended to go. Peter
Dirty minds think alike I'm certain I might have heard the same thing. Considering English is my second language, I hear things wrong a lot, and the worst part is 90% of my English correspondence is about fetish stuff. I'm certainly good about talking about sexual topics but not as much regular things
Hi, Nass1957! Yes, I think I put my message in the correct place. The non-WAM forum is for, "Random thoughts, deep conversations, important issues." Well, the post seemed to be quite funny to me at the time. I guess that humour, like beauty, is very much in the mind of the person. Thanks, anyway. I have wonderful memories of Germany. A two-week rail pass back in the '80s. Visiting West Berlin, with East German armed soldiers along the trackside at stops on the way. Later, on 31st October 1995. Half time at the Olympic stadium, Munich. Bayern 0, Raith Rovers 1. I really hope that one day you will have Scotland back in the EU. Peter
Talking of Munich, I lived there a few years and enjoyed getting wet when clothed in the River Isar during the summers a few times. Sometimes it was with a friend and other times I went cruising for men, and doing it in wet jeans certainly added to the excitement.
