Hi all, Just wondered if anyone can recommend good sources of good crowd soundtracks suitable for overlaying for wam videos - for example, laughing, encouragement, 'uh-oh, oh no...' type stuff, 'ewwww' expressions and the like?
Hi - just go to archive.org and search on 'crowd noise' or 'audience applause' (use the AUDIO filter to cut down on results). Most are public domain (especially older TV or Radio recordings). If there is a Creative Commons license attached to the sound, make sure the CC license type does NOT say 'non-commercial' (it may require attribution, though). Select for the list of file types (usually WAV or Mp3), right click, select 'save file as' (or similar), and download to your desk top
Now, if the best audio track that you prefer is actually part of a film or video clip, just download the film/video (usually as Mpeg4) to your desk top, then head over to convertio.co , not '.com', upload the file, select from the file type menu either WAV or Mp3, click convert, wait a few seconds, and download the audio file.
