Just a thought and dilemma I've had. I've used both cream pies and shaving pies and love them but can decide which I like more? I know I don't have to decide, but wondering if anyone has similar feelings?
Cream pies although can be pricey, smell and taste soo nice and submersion and different unpredictable feelings involved. It's like a wonderful sensory overload. Love the potential mystery of flavors and smells.
Shaving foam is so quick easy and cheap. As much coverage as you want and with crusts feel like more authentic pies. Although the blandness and lack of smell can not necessarily be a turn off, but it doesn't enhance anything.
Has anyone had any fun experiments with different types of pie substance that you enjoy? I want to see how many fun mysterious possibilities there are with pie. Anyone have any more pros or cons to add about your fun with pies?

I prefer shaving cream. 1) It's cheaper 2) It's better coverage 3) (What you didn't mention so far) it is much healthier for your skin if you wear it for a longer period of time which results in 4) I can get my girlfriend into it too

Although I'm not a 'pie in the face' person, I do enjoy the idea of pie contents being spread over a body. With real pies being rather costly, and shaving foam pies being too light and airy, I've learned to blend some water into shaving foam and it becomes more runny and gloopy, almost like cream. The main problem is mixing, as the water will want to sit at the bottom and the foam floating on top. But with some determination and patience, it can be mixed into a wetter version of shaving foam that splats heavily like a cream pie, yet still cheaper.
Shaving cream is straight pleb tier. Real cream pies are amazing. I mean seriously.. take money and cleanup out of the equation and just think purely whats messier... the answers is clear.

Although I don't mind using shaving cream and graham crusts because of cost, cleanup, and they actually don't look bad, there is nothing like a cream pie to the face. It makes a much better mess, is tasty, and feels great as the victim. My favorite is pudding with whipped cream on top. One pie will be enough to destroy someones face. Nothing like it.
Cream pies definitely. I personally like the combo of whipped topping and marshmallow fluff in crusts. They clean up fairly easy and make a great splatter on the face and body. I can't stand the smell of shaving cream (makes me gag), plus it's not edible, so you or your target are constantly having to spit it out. Sure it can be watered down to look like real whipped cream, but it still doesn't have the same feeling. If I'm going to get plastered with pies, I want them to be edible cream for sure.
It kind of depends on my budget, my amount of prep/clean-up time, and even my mood.
Overall, nothing beats that pudding and cool whip combination - and if the scene is going to get sexual (conventionally sexual) I do love the taste!
Shaving cream does have some positive qualities beyond low cost and ease of prep/clean. Unlike what some people here think, I think shaving cream smells amazing, and I have had a couple of women that have tried my kink play out with me say that it was actually a turn on to be covered in something that smelled so "manly".
Shaving cream also has a really silky, sensual feel (without feeling cold) that can be very fun to just be engulfed in. If oral sex isn't on the menu for afterwards, a kiddie pool or tub full of shaving cream is actually more sensually pleasing than a comparable amount of any foodstuff, and it really is a fraction of the price.
I'm definitely a shaving foam pie guy. It's cheap, easy to clean up, gives great coverage and doesn't stink after a while. If I was to use cream, it'd have to be thick so as to provide good coverage and I would probably only use it in a mini session
