Hello Folks, Well life can throw some strange surprises. After ten years on this site, and just as I am thinking of finally retiring and winding up the video sales on my websites, I get a message from Hywel of the Restrained Elegance website, to tell me that two of my video clips were selected to be shown at the British Fetish Film Festival.
As Pandoras website is under threat, and now Restrained Elegance have received notice of investigation.
I have decided to get involved and try to help the cause, so I have offered to have a final closing sale (until end april), with the monies received being donated to the Backlash Legal Fighting Fund. See details :- http://www.backlash-uk.org.uk There is enough money in my websites vidown account to pay bank charges and wire fees, plus a small surplus, so any monies earned will all go to the cause.
I have set all prices at a flat $6 per clip in each store, so come on chaps help support your home grown fetish film maker industry and save them from the clutches of OFCOM and Mr Camerons motley crew of small minded prudes.
I don't know if I'm the only one having an issue but your umd store has no videos and I can't make purchases on viddown
Considering how repressed American's are it seems crazy to me that England is the one with stupid restrictions on fetish/BDSM porn. Model safety should be taken seriously when it comes to extreme bdsm that can be dangerous but it's ridiculous to me that they would investigate Restrained Elegance. I love the photography on that site and as someone who has done a lot of bondage modeling you can tell he knows what he is doing and isn't doing anything unsafe.
Hello Leila, You are right I closed the UMD store but have never deleted the link, because I intended to close the site down and retire. But unless something strange has happened to the Vidown store just recently everything was working fine. Or are you saying that you don't have a card that works on Vidown. I will give Patrick a call in case it's something of a bug.
Yes the whole bloody ATVOD now OFCOM thing is a bloody mess. My own view is that it is easier for politicians to claim erotica is pornography and try to ban it or restrict acess to it, on the pretense of protecting children, than to justify more general internet censorship. "The thin end of the wedge" so to speak.
Just checked and there has been a sale go through OK just a while ago, but thanks for letting me know, I will ask Patrick to check anyway. Thank you for trying to make a donation that is kind of you.
Debit/gift/prepaid cards with either the Visa or Mastercard logo will generally work in any online system that accepts those credit card brands, but you MUST register the card to a street address before it will work online or at most kiosks or gas pump systems that ask for a ZIP code. That's normally done at the card issuer's website.
