I've been trying out frosting/buttercream for a while - Betty Crocker is hit and miss. When it's a little bit melted/softer it sticks really well but it's very expensive (£2.50 for a 400g tub, and you probably want 2 of them to make a good pie) and can very easily have no sticking power whatsoever if it's a little bit cold (and we're in the UK, so...).
This stuff is "lightly aerated", which means it could be slightly better, but could also go a bit melty (think squirty cream). Might be worth a go though? I'm probably going to order some and see what happens, but it's an expensive risk to experiment with...

I'm thinking the same. There's no apparant storage instructions on the labels so I'm guessing it stores at room temperature, so hopefully will get more than one session out of it.
The seller suggests ordering a small sample to make sure this is the right product. Heh!
