Just a quick question: Every time I use gunge made from a cornflour/cornstarch and hot water mix it thickens nicely but goes watery not long after. Does everyone have this? Is there something I can do to avoid it?
Are you using boiling water? If not, you need to. My corn flour gunge gets thicker and thicker until it's like jelly if left long enough. Using boiling water means you have to wait a while for it to cool down, but it won't thicken up and stay thick if you don't.
