We might be able to help each other--not to mention give some valuable insights to any interested WAM enthusiasts--if we had an honest and transparent discussion about the economics of content creation in 2025. I don't know if anything will change from it, but discovering how each of us moves our money may help when it comes to setting prices, negotiating rates with collaborators or budgeting for future shoots.
Specifically, I think it would be valuable to know where in the world we operate, how much we pay/get paid to shoot, the cost of other supplies, and what (if any) return we get on our investment. We can be as vague or specific as we want. Any information would be better than the mystery that currently shrouds our work.
I'll start: I'm a producer from a big American city. I haven't actually shot a video since late 2023, but when I did I paid the talent $700 each for a half day of shooting that involved tasteful undressing to lingerie--no nudity, no sexually explicit content. I also had a hair/makeup artist on hand for $100 a head. For supplies, A 12-box case of cake batter was $20 on Amazon or about $1.19/box from Aldi. Large jars of applesauce were about $4 from the local grocery store and six-packs of pie crusts were about $8. I've made about 20% of that money back selling the scenes from that shoot (5 in total) for between $8 and $15 apiece, so, needless to say, everything I do is a labor of love.
Is that matching up with your experience? I'm I inadvertently screwing myself or others? Let's make sure the money in WAM always go where it belongs.

You are pretty much on par with where I would expect a reputable producer to be as far as production costs go.
700 for a half day worth of work is ballpark for non nude/non topless tasteful kink. 500-700 give or take what you expect, experience level of the model and so forth.
HMUA at 100 per head isn't bad either. We have a couple I work with frequently with here and we are about the same although I am a touch higher at 125 because we get some TFP from them as well and they deserve it for the quality work they put in.
For the fetish side of my work, costs double to triple though because with wrestling, you need two models, wrestling is hard and oil and mud wrestling is even harder.
Just in materials, attire, and supplies I could be spending no less than an additional 500-600 for a full days worth of shooting. The most expensive so far was when we shot with Sondra, Mandii, Katie and Layla. 4 matches were shot. 2 oil, 2 mud and I had to get unique fits for 2 of them. LOL
