What do people use to color their slime or gunge. I am looking to make green and pink at the very least but am also looking for easily washable non staining stuff. I probably will using it on shaving cream slime.
Food coloring is the safest bet but in concentrated form (right out of the bottle) it will stain your hands, clothes and porous surfaces. For pink strawberry syrup works well but the high concentration of sugar can burn your eyes. Personally I like mixing colored frosting into other things to add color and make them thicker.
I have had 0 problems with food coloring. It will stain your hands at first but never has it stained/dyed my wife's skin after a session of trashing her and rubbing the slime in her face and hair.
Food coloring or sometimes called "egg dye" from the baking aisle in the grocery store usually does the trick. I use a whole tube per bucket (where a "tube" is typically 1-2 oz, four colors to a pack).
