I think I've gone through almost all the VHS tapes now, and I found enough good stuff to fill out 3 more downloadable clips, for those so inclined!
First up is College Mad House: Coeds slamming each other with pies... Greg Kinnear... Good times. 14 full pie rounds in excellent quality, 1 semi-cut, and 2 more in lower quality... Plus a few messy stunts as well. Not complete, but close. (WAY better than YouTube anyway!)
On that same clip: Every messy bit from "My Father The Clown," the short-running skit on the Hey Vern It's Ernest! show that seemed to exist solely to mess up that really cute mom every week. AND... Because my VCR was running overtime in 1989... Bits from Out Of Control (remember Dave Collier?), Remote Control (Colin Quinn!), The Patty Duke Show (Patty Duke!), Sharon Lois & Bram (I would assume Sharon Lois & Bram), and The Muppet Show (Sandy Duncan vs. pie-throwing Muppets!).

Way before I was aware of WAM, I was aware that this syndicated show ran 5 days a week and was quite fond of messing up cute girls my age on a regular basis. So I recorded the messy bits. A LOT of messy bits. Some of you might be too old/young to care, but if you get nostalgic over the Slop Machine, Dumpo!, The Pie-athalon, Surprise Shower, and Innocent Pie-Stander... Is it possible to get the fun house slime clip(s) of just the adults?

I have to ask, is there male WAM this time? Or did you make a separate co-ed and girls-only compilation?

What is that second-to-last picture from (with the people in the barrels)? That looks amazing.

That looks like 13 year olds....

It's the cheerleaders "gunged" in barrels from FunHouse. It's done off-camera so I assume they applied the mess beforehand then wheeled them out for the stunt, but still... Pretty great hair coverage.

Both of them were what? Early-to-mid-20's during the FunHouse era? Close to 50 now? Definitely not 13 year-olds.

Also, the clips are ALL female. Any guys messed are incidental, or it wasn't worth the time/effort to cut them out (like the College Madhouse pie rounds, which alternate between males and females every 5 seconds).

and the rest of the contestants where the age restriction was 7 years old to be on the show?

Jeez man if you are that scared of seeing a kid maybe dont buy them?!

I'm with Gness on this one in that the game element is very cool.
Rich, if you ever did some kind of Dump O or Slop Machine parody it would get bought in a second. And based off some of your past work I think you could really nail the little details that would elevate it like low crowd background music and cheering and doing the little "YUCKS!" and "THATS DISGUSTING!" egging them on. And your actresses tend to be very good in my opinion, so I think they could pull off that kind of nervousness. They might get SLIMED on TV! Gross! Everyone will see! You know, that kind of thing!

The weird thing is, independent of these comments... I've actually shot a scene like this with Shelly. It's a play on one of the games where you pick hats that are either filled with money... or yucky slime.
But it's definitely more of a skit than a game show since one girl stays completely clean and the other gets progressively messy throughout... and of course, both of them are played by Shelly.

But once I get around to editing it, it SHOULD look and sound similar to a real game show. We'll see!

I've seen a few pics from the "My Father The Clown" skits and never knew where they were from! Yes, the mom is really cute, and she seems to have gotten seriously messy a lot!

I couldn't believe it when "College Madhouse" first came on! Most of the stunts weren't that great (imo), but the pie round at the end was amazing! It was a rare cutie that got away clean! Most of them got nailed at least once, and a few really cute ones got it a bunch of times!

I absolutely LOVED when the cheerleaders from "Fun House" were tied to the chairs and got pied! And then they left the pie on during the show. One of them ascted "mad" during her introduction of the kids on her team, while the other acted really blasé like nothing had happened! I would have loved to see them get gunged in the barrels, but at least they were really messy!

I'll never forget when I first saw that cheerleader scene. For some reason the place I worked out at back then had Fun House on one of their televisions. I had just finished some reps on the bench and was sitting there catching my breath when I saw JD and that other guy coming out with those pies. Once the pies met their targets I quickly had a huge hard on which would have easily been noticeable with the shorts I had on if I got up or went back to doing more reps. Another guy was waiting on the bench, so I had to pretend I got hurt to continue sitting there causing a trainer to come over and try to help me. What I scene I created! Fortunately all of this attention was a bit deflating and the embarrassment was soon over.

HA! I was watching TV as a kid with my parents and grandmother when "The Parent Trap" came on... That super-messy food fight scene garnered a similar reaction on my end. Good thing it wasn't "The Great Race"....

Any hint on when that Shelly messy hats scene might be available? Or the possibility of any future gameshow type, Fun House, Dump O, Slop Machine inspired best clip ever scenes?

Whew! I have no idea. I have a ton of other Shelly clips to get to first, plus the new Lyndsay stuff and some other things.

I suppose the "unedited" footage will appear first, but it's really not gonna have the same effect for you until you see it cut together.
