Hello, I am a long time lurker and just had a couple of questions regarding the classic pie in the face. As a college student now, I can't do the normal clothes filling/gunging that I can normally do and decided to just do the classic pie in the face, as such I had a couple of questions

1. I get my pies from Walmart, and they come in the tins, do people normally remove the tins or not? I didnt remove the tin this time and although you can really experience the pie longer by resmushing the pie into your face, you dont get that classic graham cracker crust- If you do remove it, is it hard to hold without the crust breaking on you/ any advice to hold it without breaking.

2. Anyone have any ideas how I could get even messier although I am in college? Just one pie took my about 10 minutes to clean up , anyone have any experience with it in public?

Shaving foam and syrups are my go tos generally. And custard sometimes
