Well, the games have officially gotten dumber. At the very least, they're moving through them quickly.

Getting off the Paloma bandwagon, hair up and shitty face pie again. Boring episode halfway through. Gio with only decent pie so far.

15 minutes left. Least memorable episode in a LONG time. Boys were definitely told to go easy on the pieings and keep it out of the hair of certain girls. Girls allowed to destroy the boys. It's awful.

Boys were definitely told to be the one to buzz in and guess on tough questions.

Well, with curly comes absolute shit episodes.

Gio steps up and takes the best pie of the day at the end. There were two decent pies. God awful.

Token had the pie handcuffs on today. You can tell when he takes no joy in pieing his girl. Newbies stayed pretty clean, and none stepped up to take one pie at the end. Joyce seemed disgusted just having to pie someone. She can go. Paloma can just not show up instead of saying keep it out of the hair. Too many other boring ladies. Luiza can go. Ana too.

If you haven't watched this episode, don't. Just wait for the edits or enjoy being incredibly disappointed.

Curly/Screech threw one of the best pies today. Getting rejected by every model on the Atroveran bus apparently made him a bit angry.

The balloons sucked. Really sucked. I'd rather they returned to the egg game.

You'd think with a shortened pie segment they would've been directed to let loose and go nuts.

Although the episode was shit, I really hope some of the new girls actually stay. We could definitely use more blonds.

Yep, pretty shitty. As I said before, the saving grace of the recent shows has been length... There's always gonna be tons of terrible pies from the guys (a combo of diva requests, producer influence, and plain ol' idiot White Knights) but if you've got 20+ pies for the females, some are BOUND to be good.

But drop that number to less than 10? Not so much. Gio was the one saving grace. (Who knew?) Shame the game didn't really go on a long time, she might've truly gotten wrecked. Beyond that, only other decent pie was New Blonde delivered by Curly. (So I take back some of what I said about Curly, although his overall suckitude clearly dragged down the entire show.)

Also, I don't care about hair, but if you're gonna pie Paloma well in the face (twice!), can the camera PLEASE show aftermath?? That was basically worthless and CM is (usually) better than that.

Also, Idiot Guy Who Lost suffered the same terrible camera work as all the recent females, so that's something. It's still amazing how little pie Julia actually received last week from 8 (!!) pies. This guy, not shockingly, got it way worse.

Please tell me there's another new show out there with SOME kind of decent mess. Please. I can only shoot so much on my own.

^^ Yeah, that's not bad.
Nothing to date has been amazing (I will acknowledge that you hair WAM fans probably loved that one bucket game).... But it's worth always checking in on.

At the least, it's the only other Hispanic show that delivers now besides CM. (R.I.P. Domingo Legal... Esto Es Guerra Brazil... Esto Es Guerra Bolivia... Combate... Noches Con Platanito... etc etc etc...) I really hope they start doing some head dunk games. The pie ones are pretty hit-or-miss.

I hate to say it but I think CM2 will be the last of the major Brazilian pie fight television shows. That this genre has lasted three decades (you can correct me if I'm wrong) is rather incredible. Television trends usually last 3-5 years in the U.S. What does it say about Brazilians or Brazilian television that pie fights have been so popular for such a long time?

Well it was a triple whammy of suck. as others have pointed out, few great pies and even less good camerawork. But the third downhill slide is the editing. Very few full body shots during or after the pies. I am a huge fan of the writhing and leg-kicking sexy body language. Just makes it better for me. sometimes you get a slip and fall or a quick upskirt. We got some briefly tonight with Ana...and the last two Dani appearances were great for that, regardless of what you think of Dani otherwise.

That said I am still a glass half full guy. Amazingly sexy women in sexy short dresses and heels taking pies to the face weekly (and yes, lately weakly) but still pretty hot stuff for mainstream TV.

We all bitch about each individual episode, but no one doubts the quality of the show as a whole. It's got it's highs (last week the women got 26 pies), it's lows, and it's extreme lows.... but it always tends to return to a decent overall quality level.

Also, while it may not be obvious, the individual pies have drastically increased in quality since the olden days of Chega Mais.

^^Agreed, except I prefer the "old" CM pies, actually. I think back then they left them out under the hot lights for a LONG time and so they were super gooey... and also loaded down. Most of the hits were good because you couldn't just Ugly Bieber a girl (i.e. lightly touch pie to face)... Even a tap would absolutely cover.

These new ones are thicker, which is fine if someone's really using some effort. But half-assing it means the coverage is half-assed too.

For me, the biggest letdown of this episode was Karla staying clean. None of the girl 'pie barrages' have been very good so far, but I reckon Karla would've taken it like a champ. The guys either side of her seemed to be holding really gooey yellow pies as well, it could've been perfect

I guess she got absolutely creamed with 3 green pies last week, so at least that's something.

Also Rich, I don't think I've seen that Naty pie before. Do you know if it's on youtube? I've tried searching 'girl take pie in the face', but haven't had any luck so far.

EDIT: 5-31. I was right! Very few pies but all exceptional (God bless Sabrina) except the huge one that Sabrina absolutely ducks and gets away with it. (DAMMIT Sabrina!!)

None of the girls in the 5/31 episode are regulars anymore.

Barb, Nadia, Ana Luisa, Maria, Karol are part-timers if they're even with the show any longer.

In retrospect Sabrina running from the monster pie is quite cute and rather funny. I think she was genuinely terrified.

One more thing:

The video cuts short Sabrina's sexy dance (2m45s). Some lucky guy gets to see that on a regular basis!

But in retrospect, the girls have hung around WAY longer than the guys.

None of the guys in this episode have been in the cast in ANY way/shape/form for months.
But Barb was still on when they started "captains" (and her IG still claims she's coming back)... Nadia was the first female captain to get pied, so that was only a month ago... And the girl with her hair up just recently resurfaced on the new CM. (After basically disappearing for most of a year.)

Also, she wasn't on THIS episode, but Dani was part of the original cast too... And she, apparently, will never get to leave. (Along with poor, pitiful Curly.)

That said, the next "oldest" members of the female cast (aside from Julia 1.0, who I think joined in June 2015?) didn't join until late 2015.

** The guys for the most part are nameless, faceless and interchangeable.

** I don't think any of the girls I mentioned will appear in more than two or three consecutive episodes before disappearing again for a long time (with the exception of single-mom Dani).

** I think I see tattoo arms in that 5/31 video. He still appears semi-regularly.

Now for the most distressing news:

Based on a variety of sources (including the flirty scene from the 6/26 episode) I'm nearly certain that Ugly Bieber and Gio are actually dating. Is the world unjust or what?

Well, when your only choices are Ugly Bieber and Curly, you pick the lesser of two terrible God-forsaken evils I guess.

Also, I know WE think the guys are faceless and interchangeable, but for the majority of the CM audience (teenage girls) the opposite is true. They seemed to worship the twins (God help us all)... and the same with Motorbike, Token, D'Lucca, and even Ugly Bieber. And even CURLY has a weird little fanbase too. (I remember some girl on IG taking offense when someone begged him to have a little dignity and stop getting hit with 20 pies every show. She said... something... about how sweet and funny he was for getting pied. Next week he took 40. There ya go.)

Although I suspect if we told Karla she was sweet and funny for taking 6 pies, she wouldn't take 15 the next show. Because Karla is not a moron.
