According to an article I found the "change" to the program will involve a pool approximately 2 meters deep. It sounds as if the pool will be in the studio.
This change is expected to take place in the next few weeks.
If they put concrete boots on Curly and throw him in the pool I may watch.
Your guess is as good as mine if this spells the end of the pies.

Haaaaaaaaaa, I guess it really is the end of the show.

It's hard to imagine that they could fill 75 minutes with only pool games. But then again they have nothing to lose by abandoning the current format and trying something radically different.

*** Yeah. The pool was used as a third option to the pies and water buckets during that time frame. I'm contemplating the prospect of a pool only show. However, the more I think about it the less that seems possible. Most likely the pool will be a modest water tank. It would simply require too much money and effort to put a large size pool in the studio. Additionally, it would have to be an above ground pool which would make providing quality camera shots very difficult. I anticipate a water tank that will be used for an occasional challenge. Whether the girls will wear dresses or swimsuits is an interesting question.
*** Regarding today's episode there was one decent facial double-pie (the men assiduously avoided her hair) and one good single pie to the face. That's it. The women won, and Ana, the women's captain, remained clean. The conspiracy theory that she's "protected" strengthened again today. The losing male captain received one sub-par giant pie.
in other "messy shows from other continents" news, I feel like EEG Panama is starting it's slow walk towards non-wam death. I've seen less mess on that show in the last 2-3 weeks than I've ever seen in a similar time frame. Plus they're doing dance contests now, which pretty much means no mess at all, since the girls have to look pretty. Also some bandannas in pie games. Hopefully this is just a short phase.
Just in the last 2 weeks they've done a "ring in by pieing your partner" game (not stellar, but some good moments).... A "your teammates get slimed when you miss a question" game (where the guys sucked, so not great mess for girls).... A "slime the losing captain" game (good hair slime for Neka).... And a classic PoR pie game. (Short, but very good, with 3 great female pies and one bad one.)
Currently EEG is about the only mainstream show worth checking in on regularly. It sure as hell ain't CM anymore. (And Combate seems to have dropped the mess for now.)
