Well, we're off to an absolutely abysmal start so far. Absolutely awful. I think it's been about 6 in a row for the guys so far.

And it just gets worse and worse as things go on. In the first 25 minutes there have been maybe two decent pies.

This is probably going to be the last time I watch this garbage live.

You should know by now to NEVER watch this live.
Here's the bottom line:

--There's about two girls, tops (Paloma and Julia 3.0) who are fine with getting pied. The rest have various levels of annoyance with the entire affair, ranging from shaming the guys into pieing them weakly to Barb's full-blown temper tantrums or Ana's "not the face" rule.
--There's at least four guys (both twins, Curly Fuck, and Heavy Metal Guy) who would much rather get pied over and over (by girls? guys? themselves? who cares?) than actually pie a female. One twin apparently can't even bring himself to pie a face even when he DOES get a question right (which is 10% of the time).
--Only two guys (Token and Tattoo Sleeves) consistently pie well. And Token is not allowed to pie well or answer more than 25% of the questions correctly anymore.
--ALL women are allowed to pie well, and brutally.
--Oh, and the game can't last three rounds anymore.

We had a good thing going through the beginning of 2016... Even with Curly's desperate need to get every pie on stage smashed in his face, there were still a good 8-12 solid female pies every week, and all the girls were agreeable about it. Plus, no twins, so aside from Curly most guys seemed to WANT to stay clean.

Now you have 4 guys (and 10-12 questions) that are gonna be male pies no matter what. Because those four will never get a question right, and will never miss a show. Most of the cool girls have been sent away and the ones remaining are probably there under the assurance that they won't take more than a weak side pie per show.

That's my $.02 though. If the new CM ever decides to pie any female like they pie Dumbest (the twin dumber than Dumber) every single week, I'll be shocked and surprised. But it ain't happening.

Did we watch the same show? With a few caveats (see below) this one wasn't bad.

The good: To start, the first pie was a GREAT one on Barb. And to follow: Karla got 2 great pink pies... Julia 2.0 got a great and good one (both standing up)... Ana got a nice one (also standing up)... Cameron Diaz got a great one from Curly (literally the ONLY good thing he's done in 2016)... And Token wrecked his opponent (some new brunette, and quite a hottie). Also Barb got a not-bad second pie at the end (more hair than face, but still) and pouted about it, which is always awesome.

The bad: Those "standing up" pies, while effective for coverage (not sure why these guys don't pie better when the girl is sitting still and not moving, but anyway), invariably mean that the camera guy doesn't get any sort of closeup, which kinda sucks.
More bad: Paloma is the most eager pie target ever, and once again got a half-assed pie because her guy sucked. And while some may dispute this, a brand-new blonde hottie got pied twice (with two pies each time) and yet somehow the guys could NOT hit her face. Great for hair, but weak face coverage the first time and non-existent the second. What really sucked is it seemed the guys were REALLY eager to destroy her with pies but they COULD not seem to accomplish it. Which is probably because...

The Ugly. AKA The Twins. AKA the Weak Link Every Week, but especially this one. (Curly isn't even a factor anymore by comparison.) Neither of them could pie worth a damn at all. They keep going for the hair or some weird side swipe thing that doesn't work. Worse than that, they absolutely dominate the show now which recalls the worst moments of 2015.
More precisely: There was some "pie wrestling" between the twins for no reason... Dumber (I have no desire to keep them straight, but he was the more clean one this week) followed up Paloma's first terrible pie by literally THROWING the second pie at her hands. (Surprise! No coverage!) Meanwhile Dumbest kept getting up to answer multiple questions against multiple girls, for some reason... Missed nearly all of them... His one pie against Naty was the absolute worst, and she returned the "favor" by just destroying him every time (along with some random girl in the audience, and his brother for good measure). So something like 5 pies?? His entire head was nothing but cream by the end, Naty basically spotless of course.

So in a nutshell: Get rid of the twins, and this is an amazing show. (The vibe was nice and loose this time for a change.) Keep the twins, and it's still fine, but understand their two female opponents are basically gonna get free passes.

Hopefully the new hottie blonde returns next week and gets owned by Token. And Paloma finally gets paired up with someone who can pie correctly.

Well, if you do, that's become the trend CM is moving towards. Great hair pies for new blonde, Barb, Token's girl (second time), and maybe someone else too?

I'm just worried it's gonna turn into Domingo Legal, which is now basically hair pies or super weak face pies. (This week was better tho.)

CM has turned off the comments on their FB page.

The number of comments were so few and the "likes" so sparse that it must have been too embarrassing to continue.

I can't figure out why the traffic on their social media has been so pathetic when the ratings are rising.

Yesterday's episode notched a 1.5 share.

Barbara was the loose bolt in the machine that derailed the pie segment on Chega Mais in the fall of 2015 when she demanded queen bee treatment.

This time around the blame can be laid entirely on the idiot twins who all but refuse to hit the women squarely with pies.

I don't know what the hell their issue is but it's evident they have an aversion to messing the women.

Their timidity (and idiocy) is infuriating.

Snapchat analysis shows the twins likely were not at the taping tonight, and Paloma got two pies and looked fairly destroyed. Happy thoughts. Not sure if this is the next episode

I believe the pie segment is not shot until Wednesday.

I always assumed they shot the entire episode in one day.
Paloma news is welcome... But any day without the twins is a fine day indeed.
