So, I properly slimed myself with slime/gunge for the first time ever last night. Specifically, I used Splatter Emporium's gunge powder. But after cleanup, I'm wondering if I could have minimized the trouble I went through in advance. For one, despite just sitting in my bathtub, the slime got EVERYWHERE in the bathroom. The splatter was apparently intense, and I ended up needing a step stool to reach some of it (that was also a couple of feet out of the bathtub somehow). The other thing is, even though the gunge wasn't supposed to stain, somehow my armpits and the soles of my feet have been slightly dyed green. No other part of my body has this problem, so I don't know why it happened. Just looking for advice there on A. Getting stains like that out of skin, and B. If I did something wrong that caused that, how to avoid it in the future.
Thanks. That guide seems very useful, and I'll definitely look at it more in the future. If anyone has any advice for getting stains out of skin, I'd still appreciate it, though at least they're all in easily hidden places.
Containment is king. If you're in the bath pull the shower curtain across- you can get curtain kits which have a pressure-fit/friction-fit pole which you can hang a curtain off. Make sure the bottom of the curtain hangs inside the bath. Doing this keeps 99% of the splatter contained in one area.
[[The shower curtain also keeps your washings contained- you can really spray the shower about with much less risk of flooding the bathroom]]
Cleaning tools- a scrubbing brush, nail brush, and "mesh" loofa/body scrubber. The brushes just destroy stuck on mess/splats in the bathroom, and the loofa is very good at lifting mess from skin. (the mesh glides over your skin so the sensation is gentle, fine to use it on your face. The mesh itself acts like a cheese wire and cuts through the mess leaving your skin fully clean in a few wipes).
A rubber squeegee (window cleaning tool) works very well for wiping/collecting fresh mess from almost any hard/smooth surface, and it good at getting thick layers off your skin (pre-shower clean up).
Remove and bucket as much thick mess as you can before turning on the water- this minimises the risk of blocking your drains/plug. (for disposal: dilute 50-50 with water, swish your hand through it and pour down the toilet. You just need the mess broken into free flowing suspended lumps, don't spend ages fully dissolving it into water)

Off skin no, but my wife and I used then splatter emporium mix as well and when I was mixing it I would check then consistency with my bare hands, it tinted my hand slightly blue until we had it fully mixed. Once it was the proper consistency we had no problem with stains on skin.
