This is obviously memetic, they all have the same pattern, the obsession with the mobile and the cut to the driver and the stage-wailing after. I wonder if it comes from a comedy show?

I am not sure if they come from the same comedy show. But I hope they will be more videos like this with full facial coverage. Haha.

It seems more like a social media meme by civilians, like how on Tiktok there are hundreds of videos of the same prank or joke with the same music but done by different people. Then they would be reposted on a general Chinese web site like qq.com or baidu. (This is all a guess since I don't speak Chinese.) You see compilations of videos like this reposted on youtube too.

If that's right, then the ones were able to find might just be the tip of the iceberg of what's on Chinese social media, like douyin, which is the Chinese Tiktok. But I don't know how to access or searhc them!
