and you're right loads of guys pied in this clip, but most of the girls faces are messy, so that's a good sign. And a double pie for Barbara it's always a good thing!

--CM hasn't remotely teased any of the beach pies, but thanks to the miracle of Instagram, we KNOW they exist. Impossible to tell from one pic which girls were pied, but you have to assume some or all WILL be if they let it go a few rounds. (Only 3 girls per team.)
--Also, girls pieing girls, which has never happened on CM before. Could go either way.
--Being paired with Barb is a clear sign that Curly is gunning to be the new Pie Idiot. He's managed to be messed at least twice for the past few weeks despite not missing a question (not that this show is rigged) and he's definitely leaning into the "clown" antics each time. Based on this quick promo, Barb gives him two pieings AND a hard hat. So you have to assume it was par for the course as per the producers bowing to Barb's demands, except.....

If CM feels the need to avoid female pieings in their promos, so be it. Fortunately they're not avoiding them (too much) on the show. Look closely and all the good ones DO get well pied this episode: Barb (of course), New Julia (self pie!), Flavin (consistently the MVP for the past 4 weeks), Paloma (runner-up MVP), and Naty (AKA Big Boobs). If the trade-off is a ton of pied guys and Curly being an idiot, so be it.

Last week, as expected, was an anomaly. Old Julia & Barb are back, the show is normal length, the guys are stupid again, and all the punishments go against them. But we kinda knew that already. Hopefully optimistic for this one.

Oh, and can we mention the greatest gift CM has ever given us?? TWO weeks of non-Idiot Twins! I guess after last week, Dumb & Dumber said, "We stayed clean for the first time ever... and we LOVED it. So new demand. We stay clean every week, or we walk." ...And guess who's not on the show this week!!


[Kidding... They probably got a week off for vacation and face peels so their skin can be healthy and refreshed to get buried underneath pies for the next 51 weeks.]

Is Ana Lusia the host?
I told you the show had a better chance of being cancelled than her ever coming close to a pie. I mean, the male host is basically a giant (short) idiot constantly laughing at the more attractive people on his show holding pastries... and HE'S only been pied one time, and super early in the show's history.

The hosts are immune, especially the super diva. I guarantee Tiny Man Host takes multiple pies before Ana Lusia takes a single, and I don't think the former will happen.

No it's this one: way hotter than the - admittedly - hot, host (the female one...not that little fella. Not my type).

I know recent memory doesn't indicate this, but she's taken some amazing pieings in the past. I feel like once in a while, the guys just get fed up with her diva behavior... and when they do, they do NOT waste that facial hit.

It's probably the same reasoning why Barb has taken far-and-away the lowest percentage of pieings of any "regular" since the show started... But of those pieings, easily the highest percentage of "great to epic" ones.

Inconsistency has a new name: Chega Mais!

Well THAT was a surprise.
As a renowned Chega Mais historian (i.e. I have compiled clips of all the pieings and mess, organized by week), I can tell you that the very first female pieing EVER on the show (or at least uploaded by the show) was given to... Ana Lusia.

And a solid one too, although she kinda tries to avoid the camera. This was March 29th. Back then it was mostly balloons, some eggs, and a few pies for wrong answers. No other females took a pie. (Unless this is the show where they forgot to upload a segment, in which case... Sabrina did, but we'll never see it.)

I seem to remember Ana Louisa taking a really solid hit a while ago. It was so forceful, she fell off the seat. You could tell it was really good coverage, even though we didn't see much aftermath.

That's the only good hit I can remember. The rest of hers have been half face/mainly hair pies.

Wow. Other random crap realized after strolling through the archives:

--Nadia was on the show as early as April... Showed up occasionally, even got pied once, then apparently left, and recently came back. (She gets egged on her first appearance, no pies.)
--Sabrina was the first "pie ducker," not surprisingly. (The guy goes for her face and she twists so it only gets her hair.)
--Ana Lusia got slimed and egged in the second show, thus starting the trend of hair-not-face mess.
--There was a third host for a few weeks?? Another guy, slightly less douche-y than Tiny Man. (I know that's not saying much.)

Anyway, enjoy the pics. The first two (EDIT: first & last, UMD put in wrong order) are from a day when Ana "took" 3 pies, but never really got a direct hit, so yeah... She was that way pretty early.

The one where they only showed the pieing in "REPLAY" is fantastic, but no idea why they edited out the footage of the actual closeup of her pied face before the replay. (That's 5/31 and one of the first they uploaded in HD.)

Also, in watching the trajectory of the show... You can pinpoint the precise moment when Barb becomes a diva.
--late May, early June: Barb joins cast... takes a balloon here and there, and even one (very good, green, gooey) pie

--June 14 (coincidentally the first time the show "forgot" to upload an episode to YT): Barb misses every question, takes two fantastic pies AND a flour balloon in between. Lots of aftermath, very little wiping, and Tiny Man even "interviews" her for a spell afterwards. She is clearly the focus of the "Hot Girl Getting Messy" tangent that the show embraced then, and seems poised to take over for Sabrina as weekly "Biggest Loser" for the ladies.

--June 21 to September 20: Barb gets ONE pie during the entire 14-week span. Not since "Flowers For Algernon" has an individual gotten that smart that quickly.

That same July 12th episode is jaw-dropping. Literally every single female gets pied, sometimes twice (even Ana Lusia, obviously)... Except Barb. Who is 100% clean at show's end, and strutting around like she knew the winning numbers before she even played the lottery.

Also, I'm sure it's just coincidence, but June 21st was also when Dumb joined the cast. (He got pied.) By July 5, both Idiot Twins were on the show. Hmmm...........(Would it surprise you to know they both took multiple pies that day? No??)

yeah I'm totally being fussy. She has indeed been "got", but I've never seen a full-on faceful up close. The one where she fell off the chair was amazing, but they only showed the aftermath in longshot, from which it was, frustratingly, very clear she had been completely covered. And then just stood there for ages without wiping. These ones aren't bad though...I just hope when she's next on, that strange little fellow with the microphone forces her hands down like he did to Barbara for the upcoming double-pie...then, and only then, will he have justified his existence (although I'm sure he's a jolly good egg in real life).

Aaaaand I knew I missed one! For all his many (many MANY) flaws, Curly IS one of the very few to give Ana a proper pieing. Probably the best for full aftermath too... and recent! 11-15.

Sorry, I know that was confusing the way I wrote it. The best pie in CLOSEUP she ever took was early on... And for some reason, the show cut out the "real" footage of the closeup, but then in the slo-mo "REPLAY" they showed it. It's the early pics above. Excellent pieing, but it has that weird filter on it for "replay."

I don't have any closeup of the pie-plus-fall. You're right, the camera guy could've gone in for the closeup, but just stayed on the wide shot.

I wouldn't be surprised if she warns the producers that she is ONLY to be pied in the hair... and in the odd moments when she gets a full facial (ahem), she makes them edit out any really good closeups. (Or it's just random. Who knows.)

Anyway, the 11-15 one is kinda amazing considering that pie fall was the last time anyone had even attempted to pie the face.

Yes the curly fellow was RIGHT in my bad books for pieing her poorly in a previous episode - by kissing her first, I seem to recall, thereby - understandably - causing her to recoil and escape relatively unscathed. But here, he has totally redeemed himself!

I remember this scene because it was the first time I was really ticked off.

The pie hit didn't knock her off the stool.

She leaned way back to avoid the hit and in the process flipped herself off the stool.

Nevertheless she still ended up covered.

The camera operator, however, failed to get a good close up shot.

This woman probably has the highest losing percentage of any player. It seems to me she loses about 75% of the time.

At least. It would appear that she IS just a pretty face! But when it's THAT pretty, I guess it's OK.

Seems like there are three ways to be a not-too-bright woman on this show:

1. The Sabrina - Take your lumps, dodge some pies here and get them really bad elsewhere, then pout and quit.
2. The Ana Luisa - Duck every single pie and/or warn the guys BTS not to pie your face.
3. The Barb - Bitch to the producers until they rig the game so you can answer 95% of the questions right in a 4-month period.

You really want the ones that miss more than half the time and take the pie in stride. Naty and Paolma have been great lately, and Flavin has really turned the corner. I thought Nadia was gonna be "the one" but she's turned back and/or gone AWOL lately. Cute young brunette (another Ana?) tends to wipe quickly, but in checking all these clips... It's a very rare week when she doesn't get SOME kind of pie. (And she has the misfortune to get teamed with Token a lot, so they're actually solid.)

Something about this scene doesn't seem right.

Barbara (or someone else in a red dress) can be seen holding the pie just a few feet from Ruda's face (ready to launch it) while he's standing at the microphone.

Since when are pies thrown at a person while they stand at the microphone talking?

If Ruda is the victim of Barbara's aggression why is "Kotter" (aka Curly) the person double pie-ing her?

Assuming this isn't a scripted incident (or some new game) it would suggest an almost complete lack of self control of Barbara's part.

Considering that she literally smacked the shit out of the idiot twin two episodes ago in a fit of rage it would appear Barbara is in complete meltdown mode.

Unless these scenes are staged like professional wrestling I don't think it will be long before someone strikes back at Barbara.

I assume most of the men on the show do not like her at all.

Like I said... In rapidly scanning my week comp clips in order, I was a bit surprised by a few things, but one was Other Ana getting consistently pied almost every week. I didn't realize how many great hits she's taken.
She had a good start during the one decent July episode (she took the punishment where she stuck her whole face in a vat of frosting, then confetti and Spaghetti-O's)... But then kinda disappeared during that two months of almost no female pies. So I wrote her off....

...BUT for basically the past 8 weeks, she's been resurging. Again, getting paired with Token really helps. She wipes almost immediately, which sucks for aftermath, but she seems to take a great pie everytime. That pic isn't even close to her best pieing, but thanks to the plate she's getting to pie the guy back, so we see a lot more aftermath than usual.

Every time this show gets mentioned there's at least one complaint about hair pies. As someone whose wam fetish is pretty much 90% focused on a woman's hair, my own perspective is a bit different. Hair pies are not about to ruin wam. I've been scouring the Internet for hair focused wam since the late 90s and it's not exactly been easy to find. House of Dave used to be good. Allwam is good. There are a few others. But seeing a wam scene in which a woman just gets her hair messed up and not her face is pretty rare as far as I can tell. Pies to the face are a dime a dozen in wam. Face shots are the bread and butter of mainstream wam. Fans of hair wam like myself and a few others I've noticed seem to be few and far between. These Brazilian game shows have been like a Godsend ad for us it's all we have.

Agreed. If you have the fetish of just hair being messed and not the face (which I don't), some of the CM hits... and probably half the DL Passa ou Repassa hits now (including ALL of the 12-27 episode)... are a godsend.

And I guess Ana Lusia is the patron saint.

7-19-15. It didn't really get better coverage than a good pie, and her outfit was kinda blah, and the entire thing only took 7 seconds total, but it was still pretty amazing. Even the confetti afterwards, though not messy, was kinda great and humilating.

This was actually the best punishment the show ever did. I remember thinking, "If they make this a consistent thing.... " And then they did it once more, with a guy (during the "dark days," obviously)... And never again.

FTR 7-19-15 is honestly the BEST Chega Mais ever. If you wonder why we bitch about shows where 3-4 women get pied pretty well, it's because this is how good the show CAN be. Original Julia gets triple pied just because it's her birthday (!!)... Cameron Diaz-lookalike takes two excellent pies (!!!)... And Barb took her best pieing ever and even Instagram-ed a photo afterwards (!!!!!!).

Yeah, whatever was in the water that day... They need to drink it more.
