I know this has been asked a whole bunch, but how do you make that pie filling? I know it has to do with some sort of an emulsifier, and it seems like every thread in the past regarding this makes it seem like it can only be purchased Outside of the United States. Does anybody know how to make that recipe using products that can be purchased in America? I would love to try it out.
I'll say from my end that I never could figure this out.
The guy behind Walking the Plank recommended an emulsifier called Emustab. At the time I couldn't find it in the US and for the life of me I couldn't get him to tell me the ingredients (i.e. which emulsifier it is), he just repeated the brand name a few times then stopped replying.
On a whim I did a quick search while writing this and found a party supply store in Florida that appears to ship this very brand:
Maybe give that a shot and see what comes of it. If I wasn't so busy I'd try it myself, I've been trying to crack this nut for a few years now but no recipe I try - everything from corn starch to cellulose to mascarpone - comes even close.

Hey, thanks for the response. Maybe this'll just have to remain a mystery.
Along with the emulsifier name he sent me that video which supposedly shows how to make the pies he uses in his Walking the Plank show (same as used in Chega). With that and the Emustab you should be able to make it happen.
