Well, from the preview, it looks like this will be an improvement from last week's episode. If you count the pies each team got in the brief, full stage shot, you can see the women got 6 and the men got 3.

I had a theory that the twins might return with the bargaining power of 1000 sad Brazilian teenagers on Instagram, and demand fair pie treatment....

....Nope. Still getting multiple pies, still doing the whole "hilarious" falling bit.

I'll say this, though... In the wake of Curly's quest to get hit with every single pie on stage, the twins are almost [shudder] refreshing. Anyway, as you said, it looks like the women are getting just as many pies this week. I assume Barb stays 100% clean by being paired with the stupider (??) twin, so everyone's happy.

I've been unable to find this week's 30 second preview. Usually it's released by Thursday. They've apparently done away with the 90 second preview which was usually released by Saturday.

Anyway... I was actually thinking about a "conspiracy theory" that this was an old episode they shot over the break and were bringing back now to soothe those worried twins fans. (Assuming the twins had really quit the show for good.) Nice that the rest of you picked up on the preview looking weird... to the point of narrowing down the episode.

So this is the first episode in forever with NO legitimate preview whatsoever. Not sure to be excited or terrified.

Anyone finding it suspicious that the IG keeps updating with messy pics... from previous shows?
One is the show from 2 weeks back (?)... You can see an obliterated Curly in the background so that's a dead giveaway.
The other is the same show from the promo, where both twins get covered (12/27??)... It's the infamous pic of 100% clean Barb and Julia giving Dumber his third pie.

I'm guessing this could be the first CM rerun ever... Which would be a technically correct "return of the twins"... But a cruel joke on their fanbase, nonetheless.

DL is also gonna be worthless this week, so don't bother with that.

CM has been running late all week. The YT episode wasn't posted until Wednesday. The 30 second preview video which usually appears by Thursday is nowhere to be found. Often there are 15 second videos shot by cast members that appear on IG or FB. I don't think there are any this week. The only evidence that leaves hope that this will be a new episode is this picture from four days ago. I think this picture is new, but I'm not certain.

CM claimed that both the idiot twins and Barbara are returning this week. Perhaps this is accomplished by running an old episode?

UPDATE: The picture I linked to above is from the 12/20 episode. Therefore, I don't think any pictures or videos have been released this week indicating that today's episode will be new. This would be a first. Today might be a rerun.

UPDATE #2: CM has posted pictures and video this week from several different episodes but nothing that appears new. It's possible that they're running extremely late and will have a new episode to air today. RedeTV! is probably understaffed, underfunded and unorganized. Perhaps there was a technical issue? Or a problem with the hosts or models? Who knows? I thought they tape at least one week ahead and have an episode in reserve. Not looking good today.

Yeah, basically my conspiracy theory. CM bows to 12-year-old girl pressure and says "the twins are coming back this week!".... Then airs a rerun with them.

If it's a rerun, it (probably) means the twins are gone for good. We can dream.
If it's a new episode, then much better (even if it sucks). But it does seem odd that no new pics or video from said "new episode" have been released.

The YT channel that uploads the promos from RedeTV isn't affiliated with the show (and possibly not even the network). Which means there's no new promo out there at all, again lending support to this being a rerun. We'll know in about 5 hours.

Now let the rumors begin that the show is cancelled.

The 12 year old girls on IG are rather upset that the twins have "returned" in rerun only. Chega Mais just pissed off the largest bloc of their audience. Not smart.

I don't know what conclusion, if any, we can draw from this rerun. There's not enough information for anything other than speculation.

CM was so ashamed by how their program stacks up against my parody, they had to take a week off and rethink their whole operation.

Well, this is technically the worst week in the whole run so far.

If it was cancelled, then I guess we had a good run and got over 200 clips from it. Hopefully there is still more to come.

Half of them would quit the show immediately.

The other half would be too confused to know what they're watching.

Nadia would be turned on.

Barb would throw a chair at your head.

Clearly, you have singlehandedly ruined CM forever.

It's interesting that every other Brazilian show runs a rerun and it's no big deal. Then again, few "hype" the rerun as a "return" of cast members that have (probably) exited for good.

Well the thing is that this is a first for CM. They've always reliably put up new material each week.

UPDATE: Potentially bad news. If the picture in the link (above) represents next week's episode it's also a rerun. Two consecutive reruns increases the likelihood that something significant is amiss.

And it was posted yesterday, before the repeat aired. Not really conclusive evidence of anything. Every picture they posted in the last few days was of a past episode.

I scrolled back 24 hours on RedeTV! Facebook and did not find the picture. There's a lot of crap on that page!!!

The picture was posted 1 hour ago (approximately) and 4 hours ago (approximately).

It's certainly possible that RedeTV! is posting erroneous pictures.

However, it's discouraging that pictures from an already aired episode are being promoted almost immediately after this week's rerun.
