Cassie tries her hand at comedy she is introduced by the host and waiter charlotte to the stage, Cassie reads off her jokes and the audience arent impressed, they boo and revoltd agains her making a mockery of her and chucking food at her. Host waiter Charlotte gives her more jokes and she keeps trying as she is messed up by the audience. Eventually Cassie leaves the stage and the audience reovlt again the host Charlotte. At the end wash off.
I don't think there is anyone who can do both girl-next-door innocent with those lovely blue eyes, and man-eating vamp with a withering stare, as Cassie. Albeit there is always that playful nature behind her devouring.
And she looks utterly stunning in that dress. Captivating.
I can see she is a great choice for making this scene work, she can keep the optimism up throughout even as her routine goes more and more badly wrong...
One, if you're doing open mike, make sure Sky is in the audience. She laughs at the most ludicrous of jokes.
Two, Cassie always was adorable. With that perky, peppy, ditzy girl-next-door thing with a well-hidden devil inside her. And with a relentless optimism even in the most gungey of circumstances.
And that makes her perfect for this as she keeps going with a smile on her face despite the audience throwing everything at her. (Plus Sky smooshing a couple of pies on her.) Even when she cannot read the jokes because there's so much on them.
She's an absolute star. And this one plays to her strengths perfectly. I think my Jess custom scenario would work well for her as well - when it comes up you'll see.
Three, the joke "what do you call a bear with no ears?" went down VERY well at work.
Four, Charlee needs to work on her throwing arm. If she's on a GTG involving frisbees or quoits, bet heavily against her.
Five, the funniest moment was probably when Cassie had the joke "what drives its audience away?" leading to a unanimous heckle of "YOU!!!!" That fit perfectly. We never did get to the punchline.
