The other two ladies in the clip section with Toni Tennille were her two sisters. They sang back-up with Toni & Darryl and were in this variety show series.
After watching the whole series every week, and hoping that a woman would get pied, I was amazed to see the final show and the melee that broke out!
I had a major crush on Toni, both as a musician and as a very cute, hot lady! When she got the pie, I thought I had died and gone to heaven! Then the 1st sister got it (I thought she was kind of cute) and I was in ecstasy (even though she only got it on part of her face)! When she turned and nailed her other sister right smack in the face, I was speechless!
And of course, they all got more, especially the sister who only got the partial pie from Toni (and her 2nd pie is shown repeatedly at the end)!
I seem to remember some controversy regarding a lady (maybe Charo) doing the Masterjoke Theater and getting pied, but it was never aired.
I did have to laugh when Roy Clark used the cottage cheese ("Just as funny, and half the calories") because he was "on a diet"!
