Just realised I'd not seen a post from Candy for a while, but checking her most recent posts - from July and August - she didn't say anything about planning a break. Is anyone in touch with her? Hoping she's OK.
She has posted on twitter/"X" about once or twice a month with some brief updates on her life - It seems she is dealing with a number of personal issues at this time, unfortunately, but she hopes to be back in the scene soon!

We're OK, but life has been throwing everything it can at us lately. I'll copy/paste some of her recent twitter posts here for those who don't use it.
Was my nans funeral yesterday, think this poem broke me into pieces as a person. I will be back when I've done some rebuilding (again!) x
More complications for my dad. A bad reaction to the same chemo he's had before. It mimicked a heart attack - no lasting damage thankfully but he's got 3 more to go and there isn't an alternative. He's ok but I'm rattled... again! Apologies for my continued absence x

Thanks for the update, appreciated. Suddenly realised hadn't seen any posts for a while, had a few cases recently where people vanished off social media and no-one noticed till they either reappeared, or it turned out they'd died, so trying to be a bit more aware of absences, as well as presences, if that makes sense.
Hope things get more stable and less stressy soon. ***hugs***
