Suggested by a customer who wanted a "spa" custom, in the proud tradition of the MessyGirl staple (and the Three Stooges before that), we thought it would be a unique opportunity to see what happens when you use an entire 7" round cake as a facial. Turns out.... It's a game changer.

I won't ask you to guess who this is under the mess (see: profile pic), but if this kind of coverage doesn't make you happy, then Victoria's little gasp/squeal of surprise as her ENTIRE HEAD got caked surely will. Anyway.... Just a little sneak preview of our "Slapstick Spa" scene that's coming soon, but I thought this particular experiment deserved its own thread beforehand.

What say you, cake fans? (And possibly non-cake fans who might come around?) Do you like this coverage as much as I do? And is this the way to proceed going forward?? And is "cornering the market on cakings" gonna be the first line in my obituary?

This looks genuinely incredible. Two preview pics and it looks like a must-buy.

Going forward, I'd say yes, this is the best form of caking. The pushing-the-face-down from a standing position has always been so-so for me. I much prefer the victim, sorry, model to be seated so you can get a proper smush and smear for maximum coverage with cakes/pies.

I think the best way to use a sheet cake is to purchase them alongside one of those 32lb containers of frosting.

I think it's a neat photo because you really can't make out any facial features except for the mouth, normally with pies you can still see a nose outline or where the eyes should be lol.
