As a society social media is a HUGE part of are lives. I check my twitter and Instagram often throughout the day. On that note I think its relevant to warn anyone wanted book a custom to not just look at what people post on UMD but too also take a peek at the persons twitter. If your trying to attract potential customers to book customs with you It might be a good idea to NOT tweet about scamming people and laughing about it with your twitter buddies. Also might not be good to brag about jacking up your prices for new people and lowering them for known peeps. O and trolling people back who troll you because you think its fun and what they deserve also big red flag. Now were not applying for a job or career here but I think it is good due diligence to take a peek at someone's social media to show patterns and history. I have seen first hand how different people are on other sites. Due your homework people and be safe out there in this vast digital world.

I don't know the context, i.e. which store you're talking about or what exactly they posted. However, if they're offering some kind of discount for repeat customers (a bit like a loyalty card), that doesn't sound inherently bad.
I'm not talking about a small amount of up charge here I'm talking about Hundreds some times thousands of dollars charged for new people as a way to discourage certain people from trying to book. IE, special pricing based on looks or preference. There is also a person who does this upcharge and then takes the persons money and blocks them, which is scamming. This thread is just an FYI I'm not putting anyone on blast that's not the point of this thread. Due your research people, shop around on your customs , check potential peoples social media as it may tell a different story then what you see on here. I am not a tilted customer merely an observer. I have not booked any customs at all.
I find the lack of research done to actually be comical. I know a guy who cashapped $200 to some random girl on Twitter with a two week old profile then bitched because he got burned, and blocked.
Anytime I'm ordering a custom from a model or producer I'm not familiar with, I assume they're out to rip me off and do my research accordingly.
That means deep diving into their social media, looking for any flags. But better than that is actually asking for recently customer references. I mean right that for me tells the story. Any reply I get back that doesn't go like this: "Sure! Reach out to "this" person and "this" person and "this" person, it's a no-go for me.
Also, and I've also said this before but if I haven't worked with them before, I do not pay upfront for customs. They do the custom, send me proof it's been made, I pay then they send the video. I will, however, pay for any supplies or outfits upfront.
