Not a sexy post, but looking for practical advice.
I had a session last night with Pillsbury buttercream frosting (vanilla). I put some on my face, and when I washed it off I found that my face was all red and irritated. It looked like a sunburn.
I've used sugar-based substances before and haven't experienced that.
Does anyone know what might have happened? Is this typical for frosting?

Yeah, off hand I can't think of anything specific but obviously there is something in there your skin doesn't like. My ex for instance is so gluten intolerant that even skin contact caused them issues.
I would try a small patch of the same stuff somewhere else like maybe on your arm or something, and then maybe another brand somewhere else, see if you have the same reactions?

Thanks, all.
Have you used this product before? If not, you might want to change brands. If so, you may have developed an allergy. Try a different brand frosting and see how that works out.
