I wanted to ask if there are others here who are interested in bodypainting as a fetish or form of personal expression. What fascinates me most is the use of paints that are very long-lasting and difficult to wash off. The idea of the paint staying on the body for an extended time is a big part of the appeal for me. I'm curious whether there are more people who share this interest, and if so, what kind of experiences you've had with different types of body paint. Do you know any paints that are especially resistant to water and soap or normal washing?
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences!
Apologies, but to me that's a cringe up there with cement and hair shaving that I can't get turned on with.
I would say this is kinda dangerous, the more paint is good, the less good it is for the skin, thinking like nasty chemical absorptions you might regret in 20 years.
That said, depending on messy vs. clean permanence, tar or roofing tar is notorious for staying on the skin and needs kerosene, turpentine, sunshine, or WD-40 to remove. Oil-based paints are a lot better for staying on the skin than waterborne paints. Lighter coats seem to stay on the skin, thicker coats crack and peel. Acrylic Urethane, with the hardener (like a superglue) mixed in will stay on the skin a long time (especially in light coats, like from a cheap spray gun from Asda). If you get automotive colours they include glitter. Another paint great for staying on the skin is POR-15.
Also I've found by accident, if you don't need the thick coverage, paint very thinned out with lacquer thinner stains the skin.
The skin is your body's biggest organ, and a second set of lungs. You do you, but be careful. Source: Not a paint wammer, but amateur automotive paint hobbyist.
I must agree with muddy_clothes, paint that is not intended to be on human skin can have serious consequences in the future. However, since I'm interested in bodypaint, I've heard some alternatives that I would like to share:
1. Jagua fruit juice - it is used for temporary tattoos and it is natural and safe unlike some henna variants. In theory it could be used for large portions to create dark blue stain similar to a temporary blackout tattoo and it should stay for a week or so.
2. Special body makeup. I've heard certain types of body makeup can stay for 3 days or longer and it can be made waterproof. You may look up user "alienmeirl" on tiktok who spends extended periods of time in blue/cerulean makeup and it become kind of her lifestyle (photos attached).
3. Brilliant Green (zelyonka or zelenka) - it is an antiseptic that stains the skin green for weeks, safe, unless comes into contact with eyes or ingested.
So yeah, please take care of your health and stay away from unknown substances. It's not worth the risk.
