I've been looking at stuff like the tubs of Aromaland shaving cream, and one thing I've always wanted to be able to pull off with shaving cream, is the perfectly coiled mound of shaving cream, pefectly curled in a crust. I've only seen it been done wit hthe use of some kind of makehift piping bag. Any suggestions, ie what garbage bags and cut exactly how?
I think it's glycolic acid that adds fluffiness, but could I get a bulk source of shaving cream and expect it to be as good as what I could get out of cans, or would it require certain upkeep, or hae a shelf life?
I've also been looking for a way to make edible whipped topping that's just and only that- Edible. Not delicious, preferably not nasty, but something that can be stored at room temperatures if need be, about the same consistency of shaving cream but edible so there was no worry of how you got hit. Or if you want to lick it off someone.
As far as pie crusts- Belmont Pie Crusts seem like a good option. Fairly cheap two packs of bake crusts. I'll always be looking for an option that's a cross between baked and graham cracker- Some kind of a pre-baked crust, a ready to go pie crust. I already can't sem to find flan, or sponge based pie plate, etc. Any tips for that would also be appreciated.
Could something like a sheet of puff patry dough be used to make a quick, simple pie crust? Is there any other type of dough that could be make very quickly into a pie crust? One idea that comes to mind is gingerbread.
