I'd like to get an ATV for better mud exploration, but can't right now.
I have gone on some ATV/SXS tours that went through muddy areas.
While I would love to stop and wallow, when you're on a tour, you can't (shouldn't) do that. (although I have when we stop for a break...)
What I'm trying to figure out is the best way to hit muddy puddles for getting as muddy as possible.
On the last trip, I would speed up and hit them hard, and while there was a big splash, I didn't get very muddy. Other people on the tour got covered, so they had some different way of driving. Maybe go fast but stop as you hit the mud?
So...
What is the best way to hit a muddy puddle on the road in an ATV to get muddy?
I have no personal experience but I'd think the person in front of you would have a lot to do with it, how hard and fast they hit the puddles and or if they spin their wheels.
