Partner and I are going to have a couple of nights away for some adult time. Has anyone come across a hotel / airbnb etc that is ideally suited for sploshing? Thinking of aspects such as

- Privacy (obvious one!) i.e. soundproofing.
- A decent shower with a shower head that you can remove - not one of those rain shower heads. Maybe a walk in?
- Enough space in the room to put a blow up paddling pool and a camera tripod
- A room that can be sufficiently heated
- Somewhere to warm the gunge
- Ground floor or lift to the room so you can move a heavy suitcase easily
- Ideally, a wet room big enough for a double shower and a paddling pool would be best.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know!

Dont think any hotel is the best, just book one with an accesible room, sometimes you do get them anyway regardless but premier inn is usually good.

I've used Premier Inn for most of my hotel sessions. Wetrooms make it a lot easier to keep the mess contained- although my partner and I have sploshed in the main room before too.
We use a pool big enough to fully fit two adults; 2.1x1.5.0.6m.
When we were in the main room (regular bathroom)- the pool went against the joining wall into the bathroom (shortest walk) and there was plenty of space to push the bed over to the window and still walk around it with the pool setup.
The wetroom had just about enough space for the pool- it could all squeeze in, although we had to put the pool on its side to shower off.
I'd say the biggest disadvantage of the wetroom is it blocks access to the toilet when you're sploshing. All the washable surfaces and shower hose made cleanup so much easier it was totally worth it.

With the hotel chains- people really just don't care what you're up to. I've walked through the lobby with my pool rolled up under my arm and nobody looked up.
You also have unlimited hot water and can get away with almost anything. Noisy blower for the pool, noisy drill for mixing gunge- all ok. If anyone actually heard any noise they'd think it was roomkeeping/a hoover running.
Shower fittings tend to be a standard size- you can bring your own hose if you want a longer one. Unscrewing the shower head and using it as a hosepipe helps the cleaning a lot.


AirBnBs are someone's home/personal space- they might get a bit funny about sploshing. By all means browse- but in general the best room for your money is a hotel chain.

The Britannia in Nottingham is such a shithole that if you leave a ton of mess it'll probably add to the room's quality...
