"Best Chega Mais Ever!"
Holy smokes Batgirl! This week's Chega Mais was a total smashing on the girls! Pie fighting and slipping, it was amazing! Could do without the fool in the donkey mask though.

This would probably be simpler if the show's own website (RedeTV) would upload their own show in, you know, actual HD. (Instead of 360p, which is what's on the website.)
Apparently the only place they can upload the show in HD is... YouTube. Where they can't seem to obtain the copyrights for the music being performed on the show by the actual musicians who own the copyright.
(Or they could, you know, just cut out the music segments from the YouTube upload...???)

Wow, that was out of control...one wonders if the entire ensemble got drunk or high (or both) before the show...the hosts must have been clued in to a looser format....and then there is the introduction of the 'reciprocal' pieing (the pieyee gets to be the pier if there's key phrase on the bottom of the pie plate (this happens at least twice....and the jackass seemed to be a trickster element in the show...crazy, but really fun to watch!

If it means impromptu pieings of the female cast members, Captain Bojack with the mask can stick around as long as he wants.
Yep, they did the "reciprocal" pieing last week as well. It wound up messing up 3 additional guys and only 1 girl. (Not great odds.)
This time I *think* it was better. Although Barbara refused to get pied again, and her "replacement" basically ducked the pie, so that's a waste. The girls had no trouble clobbering the guys for reciprocal pies, I noticed. (Or double pieing them several times, but... C'est la vie.) And I felt bad for Token... The hosts basically made him put down the pie he was gonna use to select a different pie... Which had the "reciprocal" on the bottom, natch.
Still, I don't mind them skewing the results as long as they throw more anarchy into the game. At this point the guys are always gonna get destroyed regardless... It's just a question of whether the girls follow suit. Not being a fan of hair pies, I thought this show was a bit of a wasted opportunity, but I like this direction moving forward. When the guys figure out how to pie the ENTIRE FACE again, we will be in business!
Also, I didn't spot Bojack sneak-pieing any of the girls... Just Twin Dumber I believe.

not wanting yet to watch the whole thing again...I think that Bojack does pie one girl by surprise...what was interesting sort of was seeing the guys having WAY more fun with things than the girls, who frequently looked mad/angry...and ducked a bit more....but also: the fact that nearly all the gals wear high heels (spiked heels) and can hardly stand upright once the pie/slime mess builds up on the floor, and yet, they always manage to hide any accidental up-skirt peaks (they seem to know where the cameras are, always)

That was definitely the best one of the segment.

Good stuff! I *think* the IG pics were posted last week, and then film more than a week out, so those probably match to this Sunday. Ditto the girl who got pink pied VERY nicely in that preview. (New girl? A while back they were obsessive about keeping the new girls clean, but gladly that's changed....)
Also I spotted another IG pic (can't find it now) showing the Cameron Diaz lookalike girl having clearly been well pied, along with Barbara (also pied, not quite as well). So this show should be a pretty good one. The fact that only one girl stayed clean is promising.
I'll be honest... This show is brutal when it's bad but amazing when it's good. Highs and lows. And more than any other show now, I find the "scavenger hunt" aspect heightens the enjoyment: The random teaser clips, IG pics showing various cast members pied, etc etc. It reminds me of the "old days" when you'd catch an ad on TV with half a second of a pieing and just *imagine* what the scene was gonna be..... Sometimes the anticipation was better than the real thing....
Anyway. Chega Mais. Glad it's back on a hot streak. Now if they could just figure out their YouTube channel.

The models do not appear to be wearing the same clothes in the two pictures I posted last night. Perhaps they change clothes at some point?
In the video I count 5 men covered in pie versus one women. Chega Mais, for some unknown reason, primarily highlights men being pied in their preview videos. I hope the episode is not as bad as it appears. And yes, the man in the horse head returns.

I'm going to make a prediction I sincerely hope doesn't come true.
I predict Chega Mais will be cancelled in the next couple months.
The 180 degree change of direction in the pie game most likely suggests poor ratings and desperation.
Enjoy this slice of pie heaven. It may not last much longer.
One thing is certain. CM can NEVER return to the boring and predictable pie game of August and September.

Eh, maybe poor ratings... Or maybe they (belatedly) figured out what the lure of their whole show was and are finally embracing it.
Judging by social media they have WAY more likes, comments, and traffic than even a couple months ago.
Doesn't Brazil publish ratings? How hard could it be to find them?
Anyway, between this vid and some of the stuff on their FB, this might wind up ACTUALLY being the best episode to date. (I know some thought that about last week's, but just this preview already has two pieings that destroy anything from last Sunday.)
