Not my best work, but it has been a hot minute since I have baked throwing pies. Just curious what recipe other people use? I am using 4 cups of flour, 1 and 1/3rd cups of shortening, and 1 and 1/2 cups of ice cold water. And sorry, like most Americans I have no idea what that equates to in the metric system
Those crusts may not win a baking award, but they're fine for smashing. I just buy frozen crusts. By the way, Siri/Alexa can convert those metric amounts for you. Gotta have Alexa in the kitchen.
