Does anyone know if the original movies from Artscene/Aquantics are still somewhere available for purchase? The videos that had been online at Artaqua had been in some cases shorter than the original scenes that I remember from the old VHS tapes. So it would be great if they are still around in a digital format. I also hope that someday they will be re-released in a remastered version like the amazing Wamtec movies.
Looks like Kate took the sites down without saying much.
This is all that's left of Artscene/Aquantics
http://www.artaqua.co.uk/ "Artscene and Aquantics produced some of the most bizarre videos you are ever likely to see. Beautiful girls, wet and messy was our speciality. However, as time has moved on half of us are no longer around R.I.P"
This is her profile here, but given the message on the main site, I wouldn't DM about it.
Looks like Kate last logged in in 2019, and all three sites are gone, while the domains are still registered, the nameservers for aquadisiac.co.uk and wamretro.com aren't returning any records, not even an SOA. So I guess all that content is gone. Always meant to try an Artaqua membership, but never got round to it. Too late now.
No, the films are no longer available. Following the death of Roger Carpenter, one half of Artscene/Aquantics, Dave Wilkey, the remaining half, took the decision to close down the business.

Late to the party wish I could have scene some of those scenes

Yeah, me too, and I had plenty of opportunity but failed to take it.
TBH this bears out advice I've always given people, but failed to follow myself in this case, if you like something, buy it now, because it may not be there tomorrow. Some producers announce when they are shutting down, some even have closing down sales. But others will just quietly shut down with no fuss when they think their time is done, and their content will be gone forever.

These are some of my absolute favorite productions of all time. Sad, but understandable.
All my best to Dave and Kate wherever and whatever they are doing.
I was lucky enough to get hold of most of their catalogue a few years ago, which are now safely stored in my library. Some absolute gems in there, but a shame they have closed up shop now :-(
Absolutely. I had many of the films as VHS tapes but since this old format no longer works, the films are also lost since I missed the chance to get the DVDs. I just hope that the original master tapes are still out there and that they might be re-released someday. But maybe this is just my wishful thinking.

You can stil get VHS players, and adaptors to digitise the content, so if you still have the tapes you should be able to recover the scenes.
