I really enjoyed listening to the audio feed. The sound of people who 'know their shit' doing such extraordinary things in such a professional, dignified and at times emotional and empathetic manner was such a tonic against what we usually hear coming out of the USA at the moment.
I'm glad something great and positive like this is going on for the sake of the younger generations to experience.
I know development budgets could be spent on other things, but seeing live pictures of our delicately veiled planet out in the dark void from afar has a value. There are some interesting claims of the usefulness of a presence on the moon would have. In some ways, it could be easier than keeping the orbiting space station going.
