So I was recently turned onto grits as a breakfast item. Just a little bit goes along away quantity wise. But I also realized it has a certain lumpy, slimy texture to it which could be a nice WAM substance. Anyone tried it yet?
We used a bucket of grits in a breakfast themed mess. I don't think a true North Coralinian would approve though because they were instant grits :ahahah: Make sure you let them cool sufficiently before using, the top of the bucket felt cool to the touch but it was still really hot in the middle when we stirred it for about half an hour

Porridge is closer to what we call oatmeal in the USA. Grits are made from corn and have a different consistency. They used to be a purely southern US thing but now I think you can get them nationwide here.
