I thought about attending some of the SLOSH Club parties in Birmingham and Manchester this year, just wanted to know if anyone else has attended and what they were like?
I went to a show at The Wellington in Birmingham and met a lot of SLOSH guys there so got invited to another event. Really nice set of people, very fun, lots of gunge. I was really nervous and they put me at ease...oh...then gunged me! Yes - go.
Sounds like a blast. I have always wanted to join just to read and hear about all of the fun. I wish there was a Splosh club on the West Coast of Canada near me.
I am a member as it's pretty cheap but haven't been to any events yet (nearly made one like year but the day job got in the way) Mixed events are rather rare, the short lived Kent ones were pretty good. Ultimately sploshing with girls is more fun as they react better whereas fellas (myself included) just sit there and take it.
Their year runs April to March, but memberships last for 12 months from when paid (spanning club years).
Events are only open to members and joining is not an instant process so if anyone is wanting to attend a specific club event I wouldn't leave it too late to join.
